Job Description
The Professional Services Sr Manager has a frontline management role with two primary responsibilities:
1. Services Delivery and Personnel Management- Responsible for the successful delivery of consulting services as well as the coordination of activities and information between key engagement stakeholders. 2. Performance Management - Responsible for the management of consulting personnel, which would include participation in staffing decisions, performance reviews, and career development support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and Develop project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules.
Monitor and analyze service delivery metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
Develop and implement service delivery strategies to meet client needs and expectations.
Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate service delivery performance.
Work closely with clients, manage overall coordination from planning through implementation.
Ensures successful delivery of consulting services, through effective Client Engagement and Management programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and coordination in service delivery efforts.
Manage escalations and resolve complex service delivery issues in a timely manner.
Create project charters and project plans and budget. Manage and monitor project budgets and expenditures.
Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management on service delivery performance and initiatives.
Contribute to proposals, project expansion, and business development call.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to service delivery.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service delivery managers and specialists, and coach staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
Facilitate resource requirements analysis and scheduling, including estimated project work effort for both client and consulting resources.
Guide business, technical and 3rdparty solution provider resources.
Monitoring project activities ensuring the quality and integrity of the information is intact.
Required Skills
15+ Years of total experience. 5+ Years of Project Management experience.
Prior experience with Oracle EBS HCM/Oracle Cloude HCM and Business Intelligence is a must.
Ability to work across a broad range of business and IT-related subject-matter areas with sensitivity to global impact.
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and retain consultants.
Effective communication skills at all organizational levels, including written, oral, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to function in dynamic environments, whether leading or following
Demonstrated ability to work with business and IT partners of all levels; sensitivity and understanding required for successful cultural relations.
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced interactive, results-based team environment.
Strong management, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Projects OR Other Project Management Tools.
Plus Skills
Project Management Institute certifications such as Professional Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) desirable.
ITIL Certified. Exposure to Agile mythology.
Experience managing Java technology.
DevOps.
