Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Hyderabad

Reports To: Group CFO

Department: Finance

Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring the

the company's financial health, and driving its financial strategy. This includes managing financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and operational performance. The CFO will work closely with the executive leadership

team to support decision-making and help the company achieve its strategic goals, while maintaining a strong financial

foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company to support the organization's business objectives. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set long-term financial goals, strategies, and plans.

Provide leadership in forecasting and budgeting processes; ensure alignment with the company's growth objectives.

Advise the senior leadership team on key financial decisions, including capital allocation, investments, and

resource management.

2. Financial Planning & Reporting:

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements,

balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring financial targets are met and that resources are allocated.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for operational

improvements.

3.Risk Management:

Identify financial risks and work with senior leadership to mitigate those risks, including market fluctuations,

regulatory changes, and other external factors.

Ensure the company has proper insurance coverage and appropriate risk management strategies in place.

Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, debt management, and working capital optimization.

4. Capital Management & Funding:

Lead efforts to manage the company's capital structure, including equity, debt, and working capital management.

Identify financing needs and manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.

Negotiate funding arrangements, including loans, lines of credit, and equity financing.

5. Financial Systems & Operations:

Ensure the company's financial systems, processes, and controls are efficient and compliant with industry standards.

Work with the IT department to implement technology solutions that improve financial processes and reporting

capabilities.

Maintain strong internal controls and ensure financial audits are conducted regularly.

 

6. Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Initiatives:

Lead financial due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, providing analysis on financial

viability and risks.

Play an active role in the execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, including expansions, partnerships,

and new service lines.

7. Leadership & Team Development:

Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, ensuring their professional development and growth.

Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration within the finance department.

Ensure continuous improvement of financial practices and processes across the organization.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Qualified CA (1st Preference) / CPA /CMA

Minimum of 20+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 10 years in a leadership

role.

Minimum 10+ years, Experience in the EPC industry.

Should have worked in EPC Companies with Turnover of INR 5000 Crs

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis.

Proven experience with strategic financial planning and corporate finance.

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable

way to non-financial stakeholders.

High proficiency in financial management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
