Position Overview: As a Category Manager at Plan B, you will be responsible for shaping the destiny and growth
of the many categories of kids wear essentials and help us redefine everyday wear. You
will be responsible for curating, developing, and delivering an exciting and diverse range of
products that are true to our brand values and resonate with our target audience. You will
leverage your understanding of trends, production technologies, vendor identification and
management and take insights from the market to take decisive action to ensure the
company stays well ahead of design, production and marketing schedules. Your
entrepreneurial mindset will play a key role in the category's growth.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Category Strategy and Planning:
Develop a comprehensive growth strategy for the innerwear and basics
category
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer
preferences, and competitive landscapes. 2. Product Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch
and ongoing optimization.
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure a compelling and
diverse product assortment. 3. Sales and Revenue Optimization:
Set and achieve revenue targets for the category through effective pricing,
promotions, and product positioning.
Analyze sales data to identify hello for growth and areas for improvement. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and customer service teams to
ensure cohesive and effective go-to-market strategies.
