Job Description General Manager – Finance

Experience Range 12- 15 years of experience
Position Objective: Responsible for managing finacial reporting, planning, compliance and statutory needs. Act as a financial controller working closely with the CFO and CEO to provide financial control for the company. This role is critical for driving financial efficiency and supporting the overall strategic goals.
Roles and Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning and Analysis
· Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models. · Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to optimise profitability. · Monitor key financial KPIs like controllable margins, gross margin, operating margin, EBITDA and working capital.
2. Financial Reporting · Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. · Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements. · Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory audits.
3. Cost Management
· Monitor and control operational costs across departments, services and products. · Identify cost-saving opportunities in the product development, sales and marketing activities.
4. Cash Flow and Treasury Management
· Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operational needs. · Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing terms. 5. Risk Management
· Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
· Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
