Job Summary:

The Lead MEP / Electrical will oversee all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and electrical activities for the Noida Data Center project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the design, execution, quality, and timely delivery of the electrical and MEP components of the project.

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management

• Lead the end-to-end MEP and electrical aspects of the data center project.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for MEP/Electrical workstreams.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

2. Design and Planning

• Review and validate electrical and MEP designs, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and internal teams for project alignment.
• Optimize designs for energy efficiency, sustainability, and scalability.

3. Execution and Coordination

• Supervise on-site implementation of electrical and MEP systems, including high-voltage systems, UPS, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing.
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure installation meets design and regulatory standards.

4. Vendor and Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for electrical and MEP packages.
• Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Act as the point of contact for client communication regarding MEP/Electrical matters.

5. Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure all MEP/Electrical activities comply with statutory requirements, safety norms, and company policies.
• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, inspection records, and as- built documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience in MEP/Electrical project management, preferably in data center or large-scale industrial/commercial projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering MEP/Electrical components for high- capacity data centers.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in MEP and electrical systems (high voltage, LV panels, transformers, generators, HVAC, etc.).
• Strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
