OBJECTIVE:

This position is for Manager– Software Quality Assurance who would be responsible for delivering high-quality software testing services.

The candidate would be responsible for creating test scenarios, test cases, executing tests, and reporting on test results.

Should be able to take work on multiple ongoing projects assigned to him.

Should be able to coordinate and work with other departments to ensure that the end solution meets quality standards.

The job requires strong understanding of life insurance domain and testing skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

Understanding business requirement and business applications

Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases for assigned projects

Conduct functional manual testing on assigned projects

Identify and report defects and progress

Participate in test planning and design activities

Work closely with developers to resolve defects

Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools

Work with other departments to ensure quality standards are met

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Ensure comprehensive test coverage for assigned projects

Ensure Defects are categorized as High, Medium , Low basis complexity

Proactively identify risks and concerns and suggest mitigations

Ensure testing is completed within agreed schedule while ensuring project quality

Ensure regular updates to the project manager

WORK EXP.

5+ years of work experience in Testing

3+ years’ experience in Insurance domain

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Strong understanding of life insurance domain

Experience with test planning , design and execution

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus

Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines

Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate with senior stake-holders and technical/non-technical audiences.

Excellent Understanding of software development life cycle
