JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of a Digital Transformation Program Manager is pivotal in guiding organizations through the dynamic landscape of digital innovation. This position requires a unique blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, leadership, and effective communication to drive successful digital transformation initiatives.
Objectives and Responsibilities of the Program Lead:
• Collaborate with senior management to define and articulate the organization's digital transformation strategy.
• Develop a clear roadmap that outlines the objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the transformation program.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, and third-party vendors. Assign roles and responsibilities, monitor performance, and resolve conflicts.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with the program's objectives.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their support and buy-in for the digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee the selection and deployment of digital tools, platforms, and technologies to support the transformation goals.
• Ensure that the chosen technologies are aligned with the organization's strategic vision.
• Develop and execute a change management plan to facilitate a smooth transition to digital processes.
• Provide training and support to employees to adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Develop and manage the budget for the digital transformation program, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure the success and impact of the digital transformation program.
• Make data-driven decisions to optimize and refine the program as necessary.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the transformation program and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that the digital initiatives comply with relevant regulations and security standards.
Qualifications & Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 10+ years of experience managing SAP & Other Technology projects, with hands-on experience in SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP SD, SAP MM, FIORI, ABAP, BTP, BASIS-Security etc.).
• Proficient in SAP Project Lifecycle, with a strong understanding of SAP modules, solution manager, and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, FICO, SD, MM, FIORI, ABAP, BTP, BASIS-Security etc etc.) and best practices in SAP program management.
• Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Microsoft Project, or Jira.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in project and program management, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives.
• Good understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, IoT, AI, and emerging trends.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Change management expertise and experience in leading teams through change.
• Work experience in Engineering and Construction industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
