Job Description – Senior Architect/ Urban Designer (Design Management & Execution Enablement)

Designation: Senior Manager

Experience: 4+ years cumulative Experience (B. Arch + Master’s in Urban Design / Planning / Construction Management) OR 5+ years if B. Arch only.

Education: Must be from top-tier architecture/planning/ Construction Management colleges

Industry: Real Estate Development, Architecture, Construction, Project Management

Team Liaison

Role Summary:

We are looking for Senior Architect/ Urban Designer to enable and facilitate the design execution process across

residential and commercial developments. This role will focus on managing architectural workflows, coordinating

consultants & vendors, ensuring construction integration, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The candidate will contribute to design ideation, creation of Architect briefs/ programs, and will play a key role in

ensuring seamless execution, approvals, and alignment with internal and external teams (consultants, construction, sales,

marketing, and finance).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Management & Architectural Coordination

Support research, visioning, and development of architectural briefs for new projects.

Assist in program design, space planning, and feasibility analysis based on market positioning.

Ensure all design documentation is structured, reviewed, and ready for approvals & execution.

Coordinate with external architects, consultants, engineers, and vendors to ensure alignment.

Assist in setting up BIM workflows and digital coordination tools to streamline design integration.

Prompt Engineering – Savvy with building workflows in ChatGPT/ Perplexity etc.

2. Project Execution & Development Enablement

Support end-to-end project lifecycle management, ensuring timely design delivery at each stage.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to streamline design-to-construction handovers.

Ensure compliance with RERA, local building codes, and regulatory approval processes.

Assist in budgeting and cost estimation by ensuring design specifications align with feasibility constraints.

Track and document design modifications and their impact on execution timelines.

3. Construction & Quality Control Integration

Collaborate with the construction management and quality control teams to ensure smooth implementation.

Identify execution challenges and coordinate necessary design refinements.

Ensure material specifications and vendor deliverables match intended design standards.

Maintain structured quality control benchmarks for architectural execution.

4. Consultant & Vendor Coordination

Manage the documentation and contractual deliverables of architectural consultants and vendors.

Ensure timely submission and compliance of design deliverables from external partners.

Support vendor negotiations and selection processes by gathering technical inputs and feedback.

Act as a liaison between consultants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve coordination challenges.

5. Internal Liaison (Sales, Marketing & Finance)

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide accurate design inputs for marketing collateral and

positioning.

Ensure architectural deliverables align with branding, pricing, and customer expectations.

Collaborate with finance and costing teams to ensure design decisions remain within budget.

Support pre-sales efforts by assisting with experience center designs, site presentations, and design narratives.

6. Market Research, Product Innovation & Industry Engagement

Conduct desk research on architectural trends, competitor benchmarks, and new design methodologies.

Stay updated on building regulations, approval processes, and sustainability practices.

Explore cutting edge technologies, innovative materials, and sustainable design practices for potential integration.

Engage with vendors, institutions, and researchers to track the latest product and material innovations.

Inventory and document new products, materials, and innovations for internal knowledge sharing and workflow

improvements.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Multi-sector project exposure – Experience working across luxury and mid-market residential, commercial, civic, and

infrastructure projects.

Regulatory approvals expertise – A structured approach to tracking, managing, and expediting RERA and other

approvals.

Active marketing & sales alignment – Ability to shape design-related marketing narratives, experience centers, and

collateral.

Experience handling multiple projects – Managing projects at different lifecycle stages while ensuring seamless

coordination.

Entrepreneurial/start-up experience – Ability to set up teams, workflows, and structured processes from scratch.

Process structuring & documentation mindset – Strong organizational approach to approvals, internal workflows,

and design execution tracking.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s in Urban Design/Planning (with B.Arch) + 4 years experience OR B.Arch with 5+ years experience

Alumni of top-tier colleges in architecture & planning (CEPT, SPA, IIT, KRVIA, JJ, NICMAR etc.)

Proven expertise in enabling design execution, consultant/vendor coordination, and regulatory approvals.

Extensive experience with creating/ reviewing Good for Construction drawing sets.

Experience with high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects

Basic Knowledge of approval processes (RERA, building codes, zoning regulations, etc.)

Familiarity with BIM, CAD, Image-Editors, GIS and digital workflows for design/ planning coordination

Experience in documentation, vendor coordination, and internal team support.

Must have managed a team of more than three Architects.
