1 Qualifications

CCSA /CCSP or Fortinet NSE equal level of Industry certification in Network security

2 Technical Experience

Good understanding of IT environment including:

7-9 years of troubleshooting experience on network security devices like firewall/WAF/LB

7-9 years Hands on experience on Checkpoint/Fortigate/Palo Alto firewalls

High level understanding of LAN and WAN, Security technologies including: TCP/IP

2-3 years Hands-on experience in Cisco router /switches configuration

Prior experience of participation in Network security design and implementation

3 Roles and responsibilities

• Experienced in area of network management and network security device management.
• Expertise in Implementation of IPSEC and other encryption techniques and network level.
• Administering Fortinet/Checkpoint//Paulo alto/ASA Firewall of all over global location for security.
• Creating VPN Tunnels & Rules for Network, DHCP & policy for business operations.
• Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
• Installing and configuring networking hardware and software such as router, switches, Firewalls.
• Implementation of changes on core network and DC network. Implementation of changes in network security devices.
• Setup and maintain DC and DR core routers and switches and extend BGP up to VPN routers.
• Establish dynamic routing with core switches at DC and DR.
• Enable exchange of routes from BGP to EIGRP and other routing protocol
• Integrate network links at multiple locations
• Enable network load balancing between different service provider and links.
• Expertise to collaborate and support SOC in log analysis and implementation of security controls.
• Capability to learn and adopt new technologies and Cyber security tools
• Implement encryption for both the links and Fail over between routers and links were successfully verified.
• Monitoring of network traffic and log analysis: identifying and classifying attempted compromises to client network identification of suspected traffic logs and action against the same.
• Ensuring the compliance for Network and Security devices by carrying out necessary actions based on process compliance team recommendations.
• Schedule and coordinate the implementation of security-related changes to the Software and related Services in accordance with the Security Policy and Change Management Policy.
• Troubleshoot network, systems and applications identifying and correcting malfunctions and other operational issues
• Support the network administrator in managing local and wide area networks with LAN support and supervise Daily Activities like Lease Line Uptime Connectivity to Branches.
• Maintains expertise in security-related technologies, trends, issues, and solutions
• Coordination to conduct periodic reviews and vulnerability risk assessments of the security products, processes and practices.
