Duckcreek Insights- TL/Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Create and oversee conceptual and logical data architecture for Insights hubs (staging layer, data warehouse, reporting

• Lead technical design workshops; refine and transform functional requirements into scalable data solutions

• Provide technical leadership to a team (developers/ETL/configurators), ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

• Implement data solutions: develop ETL pipelines, Data Flow/Mart schemas, XSLT transforms, scripts, stored procedures

• Oversee integration of Insights with other Duck Creek modules and external systems

• Establish data governance, standards, best practices, CI/CD, and error-handling frameworks

• Mentor and support junior team members to build capacity and capability in Insights technologies

• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize throughput, and ensure data accuracy
  
  
   

  Required Skills & Experience

• 2–7 years in Duck Creek Insights (or related modules) within P&C insurance Duck Creek

• Strong background in backend development and BI/data analysis

• Proficiency in:

  • ETL technologies (SSIS, DataStage, Databricks, etc.)

  • SQL and database schema design

  • XSLT/XML and scripting (Python/.NET/JavaScript)

• Familiarity with Duck Creek staging and warehouse data models 

• Experience integrating with Duck Creek and third-party systems

• Leadership experience with technical delivery teams, following Agile methodologies

• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
