Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our Investment Banking division as the
Director - Investment Banking and Head of Consumer Durable & Healthcare Sector Coverage. The role will primarily focus on the Indian Consumer Durable & Healthcare sector and will involve strategic leadership of our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions, while also contributing to the broader Investment Banking business including Private Equity (PE), M&A, and Structured Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sector coverage of the Consumer Durables & Healthcare industry, including home appliances, electronics, white goods, and adjacent sub-sectors.
Build strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders such as corporates, financial investors, sovereign funds, and government agencies.
Originate and execute ECM transactions including IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, and Preferential Allotments.
Drive strategic mandates including restructuring, growth capital raising, and business transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to originate and execute Private Equity, M&A, and Structured Finance deals within the Consumer Durables space.
Develop and implement a focused client engagement strategy to position Systematix as a long-term financial advisor and lifecycle partner.
Lead, mentor, and upskill junior team members to strengthen team capabilities.
Ensure end-to-end compliance with SEBI and other regulatory requirements during deal execution
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA (Finance), CA, or relevant post-graduate qualification from a reputed institute.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Investment Banking, with a strong focus on ECM and the Technology sector.
Proven track record of leading successful ECM transactions and deep understanding of capital markets.
Strong industry network and stakeholder management capabilities.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
